Pie Town Productions executive received the tape. The company's executives were in love with Tarek and Christina. The couple officially signed a deal with HGTV in 2012. In April of 2013, "Flip of Flop" was launched. Over the course of seven seasons, this show aired from 2013 to 2017. The show starred Christina and Tarek purchasing homes in Orange County. They would spend weeks upgrading the houses in order to make their properties at a the profit. Tarek takes care of demolition, renovations and design. Christina keeps everything running according to schedule.
