Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is a popular American singer and actor. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse and Tom Bell - a television director. She is an American singer and actress. She is the daughter of a Polish and her father German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen discovered a passion for the arts at the age of a child. She was just 12 when she went to her first audition. She was successful and got an appearance in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mother signed her up with an agency before her 13th birthday. She then appeared in television advertisements as well as newspaper advertisements. In the same year Bell also started classes in acting. Bell appeared on the screen in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 in a role that was not credited to her. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School, where she was a member of the both the music and drama club. In her school's stage production The Wizard of Oz, Bell was chosen to play Dorothy. Bell attended The Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, where she studied Musical Theatre at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City. Bell completed her studies in 2001, left her studies at the university to play the role Becky on Tom Sawyer. That was the same year that she also made her first credited debut in Pootie Tang (2001), but her scene was cut and she was only seen in the credits sequence. Bell made an appearance alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson, and The Crucible Broadway performance of The Crucible in 2002.
