Anna Kendrick, a Tony-nominated child actor, was signed for the role in the film "Twilight" as the main actress. Between the "Twilight" filming she also shot five other projects which included "Up in the Air". The film won an Oscar for her role as George Clooney in that film. Since her debut, she's played in many commercially and critically successful films like "Scott Pilgrim Vs. America." Anna Cook Kendrick was born in Portland, Maine on the 9th August 1985. Her mother was an accountant, while her father was a teacher of history. Anna was raised by her older brother Michael who was an actor who later went on to become an actor. Anna Kendrick started auditioning for Broadway productions as a teenager in Deering High School, Portland. At the age 12 she was offered her first part in High Society. Although she was a child she was awarded numerous nominations and awards. In 2003, she appeared as acting as a second-in-command in A Little Night Music. At the age of fifteen, she made her debut in the film Camp in the same year. Kendrick was nominated both for her performance as well as for Rocket Science 2007, which she was a part of at the age of 15.
